How can Jesse start teaching so quickly? He doesn't even know HOW
to teach and he sure as HELL didn't have enough time to work up any
kind of PLAN. Does he think he can just walk in and ... what?
Amanda is being a totally snarky BITCH in front of the Editor of
Self Magazine, and then SHE suggests that they warm up to each other
in front of her? Make up your mind, Amanda!
Kendall asks the editor if she got enough for her story. She was
only there a couple of minutes -- how could she possibly have gotten
enough for more than a couple of lines? Okay, so she can criticize
the fashions and say there is a lot of hostility, but she didn't
really find out ANYTHING. She was introduced, Amanda was repeatedly
snarky, and there was an apparent mutiny with no explanation.
Did Eileen Herle have a stroke? She seems to be talking rather
stiffly, like she can't move her mouth very well.
Frankie was SERIOUS about having his parents call him Franklin? I
can see where he might want people at work to do that, but his own
PARENTS? It sounds unnatural coming from Angie, for SURE!
After confiding in Greenlee that he's afraid Annie might be right
that he never really loved her, Greenlee says: "Don't worry, your
secret's safe with me." HA! All Annie has to do is snipe at her
about 3 times in a row and Greenlee will spill like an overturned
class of milk!
Ryan says that he found out that the procedure could kill him. Uh,
he was told at the outset (by ANGIE) that the procedure could kill
him. They're talking about cutting into his BRAIN FGS! He doesn't
seem even remotely concerned that they found an "abnormality" in his
brain -- he's just depressed that they can't/won't do the operation
to get his memory back. Considering that Jonathan had a tumor that
made him, ahem, "bad", you'd think he would have at least asked a
couple of questions about it! Then again, the whole thing with
Jonathan and his tumor happened during Ryan's memory loss. Still,
he HAS been told about it, so it should have SOME impact on him
other than putting a crimp in his plans.
Aidan lambastes Richie, saying that Greenlee Smythe has so much life
and so much love to give! No she doesn't. She has plenty hate and
dislike to give, but LOVE? Not so much. Whatever love she DOES
have is focused almost ENTIRELY on herSELF.
I don't know why I'm so cranky today, but I'm on a roll, so I'm
going to keep bitching about ... bitches. In this case, Babe. I
simply CANNOT warm up to the actress playing her. With Alexa Havens
in the role, love Babe or hate her, she at least brought some spark,
personality and vulnerability to the role. Maybe that's it -- the
vulnerable part. She knew she'd been bad and, although she really
only gave lip service to apologizing, she at least seemed to be
AWARE of the fact that she did some pretty bad things. You could
also tell that she grew up roughly and was slowly becoming more
respectable. THIS Babe is just plain stuck up and cold and acts
like she's ALWAYS been respectable and has never done anything
wrong. She has also given lip service to past bad deeds, but it's
like she's talking about not tipping a waitress, rather than
kidnapping on MULTIPLE occasions, committing adultery on MULTIPLE
occasions, bigamy, and lying to just about everyone in her life.
When THIS Babe gets snippy, she's just an unlikable bitch that you
want to walk away from and it falls completely flat, at least with
ME. She's boring.
That said, I DO understand Babe's anger at being made a fool of
while trusting a guy. No one wants to feel like a fool who was so
easily scammed, after all. Then again, she WAS warned, not once,
but over and over and over again and she blindly and WILLFULLY
ignored all warnings. In any case, she shouldn't be taking it out
on the people around her. On herSELF, maybe, but not the people
around her.
