NOTE: Thursday, Friday and Monday were boring.
(This comment is actually from Friday) Jesus, where did Erica find
THAT electric blue dress -- or more to the point, where did she find
the falsies that added 2-3 cup sizes to it? I did that once, but it
was for Halloween (and when I say it was hot, I mean foam padding
REALLY holds in the heat).
SEMI-TAN/OT #1:
There's a new restaurant in Santa Cruz called Fusion

SEMI-TAN/OT #2:
Remember Locust Street? Back in the 1970s and maybe the 1980s, that
was a BAD street in Center City (or possibly PV). It's where
EStelle LaTour and Donna Beck went on what they called "the stroll".
It's where murders and drug dealing, etc., happened, and it was
Billy Clyde Tuggle's turf (they later moved nefarious dealings to
Harbor Street). I just read in the news today that a man was
murdered on Locust Street in San Jose. I didn't even know we HAD a
Locust Street in San Jose (to be fair San Jose IS a big place).
Nothing good ever happens on Locust Street -- why would anyone even
WANT to name a street after a swarming, crop-destroying insect? It
reminds me of an episode of the Gilmore Girls where the mayor wanted
to rename some of the streets to be quaint, like they were when
their small (fictitious) Connecticut town was founded. Loralei and
Sookie started to get excited about it since it could boost tourism
to have their inn
be located on a street called Cala Lily Lane or Abbey Road or
something like that. They were then horrified to find that their
beautiful, quaint little inn was on a street that would henceforth
be called "Sores and Boils Alley" because way back when it was where
people would go to get sores and boils lanced and there might even
have been a leper colony there.
