Why is Angie wearing a dress where the anchoring ends of the sash
are not only not lined up, but barely even NEAR each other? Is that
the new fashion? Normally that denotes shoddy sewing. It MUST be
the new fashion, because I can't believe they would let a character
go on with a flaw in their clothes as glaring as THAT.
Why did Frankie bring Randi to his and his parent's place, of all
places? He knows that Myrtle runs a boarding house and even Opal
takes in strays. Talk about losing perspective! Steam is coming
out of Angie's ears and I don't blame her!
JAR guessed that, for Babe, being at Fusion "brought back the night
that he ...". WTF? It was LAST NIGHT!!!
Zach tells Ryan that Jesse WILL ask him about what happened with
Richie. WILL? He hasn't asked him YET? Again, WTF?
Isn't JAR still running Chandler? If not, doesn't he WORK there? I
always shake my head in wonder when one of the characters grouses
about others rarely being at work when that character is rarely at
work, either. Speaking of that, I know Kendall is worried about
Zach and deflecting her tension, but considering that Babe was
KIDNAPPED last night, she's being kind of harsh demanding to know
why she wasn't working on-site.
Why is Colby wearing a long scarf in the middle of summer? I mean,
she's wearing shorts, so she does seem to have an INKLING in her
empty little head about which season it is, but apparently that
inkling flew right out the window after she put her pants and a tank
top on, prompting her to add a vest and a scarf. I'd stay away from
convertibles, if I were she!
It's such a shame that they had Colby grow up and become so much
more mature and then suddenly JERKED her back into being an
air-headed, immature teen again. I just canNOT take this one seriously
at this point. Maybe she'll grow into it, but they have to stop
making her look like a wide-eyed baby doll first. I did notice that
her hair was wavy (and messy) today, which is at least an
improvement over the Shirley Temple curls.
If Annie suspects that she is pregnant, why is she, the uber-mom,
popping aspirin or whatever she took for her headache?
How many times did Annie turn her back on Jesse and clop a few feet
away because she didn't want to face him -- literally? Oh wait, I
Tivo'd it -- five times. Nervous much? I once did a detailed
update of Brooke and Edmund having a tense conversation. Edmund had
a bum leg at the time and was limping and Brooke got up and walked
away from him a RIDICULOUS number of times, causing him to have to
limp around the room after her, standing, sitting, leaning on
things, etc. I'll have to see if I can find that and count how many
times she did that. It's a tried and true soap technique, but it's
INCREDIBLY rude.
Hmmm, I never noticed it before, but Ryan/Cameron walks kind of like
a duck, with his feet pointing outward; at least that's what he does
when he's wearing plaid shorts, casual shoes and strolling on the
pier.
Colby and Petey do NOT go way back -- Petey used to hang out with
JAMIE when they were kids (Petey was about 2 years younger). They
SORASed Jamie, but left Petey in the dust. TPTB got his age ALMOST
right, though. He was born, IIRC, in 1992, when Tad returned from
being lost out in California at the Orsini Vineyards, so in real
life Petey would be about 16. Colby was born in 1999, which SHOULD
make her about 11. Petey was 12 in 2003, but Colby was only about
7. They would NOT have hung out together as children, even if their
parents WEREN'T sworn enemies.
Speaking of Petey, he's considerably less outgoing than he was when
he appeared as being 12. Then he was a conniving little rogue,
constantly making bets and cheating everyone he met out of one thing
or another. I can see the intelligence part and the influence of
being the heir to Cortlandt Electronics, but they missed the mark
with the NERDY bit. Is he going to be this generation's Alfred
Vanderpool (who, coincidentally, always had a crush on Liza)?
