(Thursday)

Only in Pine Valley can someone say that the fact that someone who was wreaking havoc in their and everyone else's lives right up until LAST NIGHT was murdered is "old news".

Erica certainly is being treated specially in prison. Even with all she's done for the other inmates, you'd think at least SOME of the other prisoners might take it out on her. She's CONSTANTLY being allowed to touch her visitors, go places other prisoners can't go, appear on TV *SEVERAL TIMES*, etc. Oh no, no special treatment THERE.

I was going to ask if Frankie is planning on paying Randi's hospital bill, because it's hard to believe he would keep her there as long as he wants in order to "protect" her at the expense of her and her insurance company, if she had one, which was unlikely. Then Randi pointed out that she is uninsured, so I'm glad they at least added THAT bit of realism into the story. It makes you wonder why she's in a PRIVATE room, but WTH, it IS Pine Valley.

Why is Carmen going to be in the prison fashion/makeover show? She's not supposed to be consorting with convicted felons; going to the prison for something that is NOT mandatory would CLEARLY be breaking the terms of her current release.
