That is QUITE a dress Amanda almost has on! Yowza!
I know Ryan is confused and doesn't remember Annie, but he's acting
like she has major cooties and he is utterly cold and distant to
her, barely tolerating the slightest touch. He didn't act that way
with women he didn't know before, so why is he acting like that NOW?
He's always the first to be a "hero" and to comfort women in
distress, as long as that woman is not one of his known enemies, and
Annie is CLEARLY distressed about his loss of memory, particularly
his memory of HER. So why isn't he at least being considerate to
HER? Yeah, he's kind of out of his element and his self-confidence
is flagging (did you ever think you'd see THAT day?) because he's
missing a huge chunk of time, but his behavior just doesn't JIVE
with the situation because he's not acting like Ryan would act,
whether he remembered her or NOT.
Speaking of not acting true-to-form, why isn't Greenlee feeling
insulted that Ryan doesn't remember being MARRIED TO HER? I mean,
yeah, there's a lot of water under the bridge and she loves Aidan
now, but Greenlee's ego is HUUUUUUUGGGGGGEEEEEE, and that has to be
quite a blow to it for him to forget their very intense
relationship. Even if she logically knows he can't help it, I would
STILL expect her to feel a LITTLE miffed, simply because she IS
Greenlee. For that matter, Greenlee doesn't seem to be more than
vaguely interested in RYAN, either. Yes, he's quite distracted, but
even their marriage wasn't his first intense go-around with her;
he's acting like he barely knows her and barely EVER knew her, which
is odd considering that she just came out of a coma -- I mean,
they've ALWAYS had a strong connection, whether it's positive or
negative at any given time. You'd think both of them would be
SLIGHTLY more concerned about the other one, all things considered.
Another oddity: Annie told Ryan about Emma and, presumably, Spike,
because she showed him photos. He hasn't even ASKED about Spike,
and doesn't seem to want anything to do with Emma. That does NOT
jive with his pre-Annie personality, either. If nothing else, Spike
is his baby WITH KENDALL, the woman he currently thinks is the love
of his life. You'd think he would be making a beeline to Spike for
that reason alone, never mind the fact that it's pretty much the LAW
for all soap men (other than the obviously BAD guys) to immediately
become obsessed with being a father from the nanosecond that they
find out that they ARE one.
