(Wednesday)

I know I've said it before, but it's bugging me -- why is Carmen hanging out with Erica? Erica may be free and clear now, but Carmen is NOT -- she's out on bail. Isn't a condition of her release to NOT be hanging out with convicted felons?

Oh, Tad is VERY badly lit at BJ's! It makes him look older AND fatter than he is! He still looks cute, but he COULD look better.

Spike is at Music Camp. WTH? The kid is only two years old -- what's he going to be doing, whacking on a drum with a big spoon?

Okay, I don't get Jack's romantic interest in Carmen. It just doesn't make sense. Jackson has been brought up in the lap of luxury and has always traveled in high social circles. He's suave, debonair, sophisticated, educated, etc. I'm not saying he's BETTER than her, just that they are from vastly different worlds and would probably have little in common. What Carmen sees in Jack is along the lines of hero worship. Been there, done that, won't do it again (with both issues). Adam liked to think he was slumming when he hooked up with Krystal, but he DID start out as a country hick, himself, so at least they had similar roots.

What IS it with the sudden insistence on using the living room as a kitchen? Okay, we've never SEEN Greenlee's kitchen (I doubt SHE has, either), but still ... Speaking of food, I find it interesting so many of the characters seem to be ACTUALLY eating food lately. I mean they are making a POINT of it. I wonder what that's about. I'm guessing it's an effort to make them seem more realistic, like having Greenlee drop her earring in the toilet. They don't usually even admit toilet's exist unless there's a fight in the ladies' room, and even then I can only remember a couple of times when a toilet was involved.

Kendell tells Ryan to "commit her" regarding Annie. WTF? Under what grounds would ANYONE have to commit her at this point? So far all they've seen is that she can be devious, jealous, high-strung and kind of a bitch (with good reason in some circumstances). All of those terms can be equally applied to Kendall. Yeah, Annie killed Richie, but a) THEY don't know that (at least not for sure), and b) she would then be hauled off to jail, not a mental institution.

Erica tells Carmen that Jack is always trying to make her jealous whenever they break up and she lists the various women he would date as examples. Never does she mention her OWN "dating" arrangements, especially the one she had WHILE SHE WAS MARRIED TO JACK, nor does she mention Samuel Woods or her own pathetic attempt to make Jack jealous by pretending to be on a hot date with TAD. In her mind, ANY man who ever again in his entire life would date any other woman, after being with her, would obviously ONLY do so to make her jealous -- they couldn't POSSIBLY do it for any other reason. To give credit where credit is due, though, that particular pathetic attempt with Tad actually WORKED, even though it was transparent to EVERYONE, including Jack.

Apparently neither Aidan nor Greenlee have noticed that he left the front door open. Presumably they will now commence to having sex in the living room ... AGAIN. Considering how often they do that in the living room, I'm beginning to think this is part of their normal sex play and that they are both exhibitionists who WANT to be caught in the act.
