(Tuesday-Wednesday)

Colby frets and says Cass is a mess because of HER! I have a feeling that Cass was ALWAYS a mess waiting to happen. She always WAS kind of babyish; she just needed a slight nudge to turn her into a WHINY and occasionally hysterical little baby about everything.

Why would Barry need to have money wired to bail Adam out? You'd think Adam would keep that kind of money in his checking account for pocket change.

At LAST a voice of reason at PVPD. For once, someone (JAR in this case), shushes Adam and tells him and Barry Shire that maybe they shouldn't be discussing the laws they broke IN A POLICE STATION! That was SOOOOOO refreshing!

I had forgotten about Adam sleeping with a judge in order to get JAR off the hook in court on drug charges. Another nice little nod to history -- the writers are on a roll.

It never ceases to amaze me how accessible the PVPD is to anyone at all at any given time. Erica is there consoling Samuel (and Erica has no official business there) and suddenly a horde of reporters swarm in and clamor for her attention and, in a frenzy of celebrity lust, wildly snapping photos of her and Samuel. What is this, the 1940s? There's a place at police stations for walk-ins -- it's called a WAITING ROOM. Any REMOTELY modern police station will have LOCKED doors (usually requiring an electronic card or keypad to unlock it) separating walk-ins from the inner workings of the department, and anyone going back into the office/cell areas would have to go through a metal detector, ESPECIALLY since the attacks in Oklahoma City and at the World Trade Center. The reporters would NEVER had gotten that far if even the simplest safeguards were in place. As it is, I'm surprised there aren't people in there hawking t-shirts and baskets of strawberries or trying to get people to sign petitions to save the whales or protesting political issues, all completely free to do so with no interference from the police in the room.

Speaking of modern police stations, interview rooms are usually more along the line of itty-bitty little rooms not much bigger than a half-bath in a condo, not the Chief's office or a conference room unless they are VERY busy.

Is anyone going to tell Liza about Colby's current legal troubles?

Emma never had to know that Annie was even IN the hospital -- she was perfectly content playing with Spike and Ian at the Slater house. Annie just selfishly wanted to use her to reel in Ryan. Poor Emma keeps getting traumatized by having to visit one parent or another in the hospital at least once a month.

I understand Babe and Amanda being pissed off because Kendall and Greenlee are rarely there, but Babe has a lot of nerve saying that when she and Amanda have problems, they don't just not show up at work. Babe is out a LOT. It's hard to say if Amanda is AWOL on a regular basis because they've shown so little of her lately. She doesn't appear to be around the office much, though. Considering her $5,000,000 haul over the JAR kidnap fiasco, I don't understand why she continues to work there.
