(Wednesday & Thursday)

Geez, the video on Wednesday's show is REALLY bad quality! I don't know if it's cut frames or speedups, but whatever it is, it is VERY noticeable. The jerkycam is still, of course, front and center -- worse than usual, in fact. I'm going to keep ragging on it until it changes or I give up on the show completely. I keep hearing rumors that they are changing back, at least as far as the jerkycam goes, yet I see no change, even weeks after the rumors started to circulate. I simply cannot FATHOM why they continue to use it in the face of plummeting ratings. The lack of perception of cause and effect and the lack of necessary repair on the part of ABC just boggles my mind.

Kendall is ragging on Annie and she (Kendall) is actually HOLDING Spike, who is sound asleep and limp as a ragdoll -- I TOLD you he'd fall asleep if she would only PICK HIM UP

So now Babe blames COLBY for the fact that BABE had sex with Josh, because otherwise JAR wouldn't have been so upset or have shut Babe out for a few measly hours while he focused on it, causing Babe to go to work to drown her feelings of being unneeded by having steamy hot sex on the floor of the office with Josh (and then skinny- dipping in a kiddie pool with him on the roof). At least Colby has youth and being a super-spoiled brat to explain HER actions -- Babe's just a girl who can't (WON'T) say "no".

Jamie: "Damn it, Di, you KNOW Dixie didn't do it!" Five D-words in one sentence from one of the multitude of J-names on the show. Are they trying to save money by constantly recycling consonants?

Hearing Greg Madden's voice refer to Josh as "Joshua" made me wonder -- will he change his name (first AND last) somewhere down the line? Characters have certainly changed BOTH for much less valid reasons than HE would have.

There's a gun floating around now -- so who's going to get shot? Or will Tad simply be busted for possession of a firearm in a courthouse? Or will they writers just let it drop that he wrestled (such as it was) the gun from Palmer. For that matter, how did PALMER get in with a gun? That's a rhetorical question -- obviously anyone in PV can go anywhere with any kind of weapon without being even being glanced at, let alone searched or having to go through any kind of metal detector. Look at Jamie and Di, wandering around unchecked in a cargo area of the airport -- I was astonished when someone actually accosted them and made them show photo ID, but even that was just so that the ID-checker could testify in court. The PV police station leaves people unattended all the time, only have video when it suits them (which is mostly never), never both to check who might be on the cleaning staff, and slap men and women together or right next to each other in jail cells that are full of heavy loose items and glass, and let visitors bearing gifts of ALL sorts come and go at all hours, regardless of their relationship to the person(s) in the cage.
