Why are women on the show such SUCKERS for men whenever men show the
LEAST bit of interest in a child? A man can be a totally despicable
PIG and a woman will hate him for everything he has done, is doing
and will most assuredly do in the future, but if he picks up a
dropped toy and hands it to a kid or helps to dry some child's tears
(over a dropped toy), she'll just MELT and forgive him for any and
all sins up to that point. In this case, Babe melts into Josh's
arms, once again, simply because he invades her privacy (on so MANY
levels) and creates a photo album of her child.

It figures Babe is too stupid to call 911 when she finds Simone
unconscious (i.e., DEAD). I WAS gratified, however, to see Kendall
pick up the phone right off the bat and direct them to 500 Front
Street (let's hope that that actually is the FUSION address).
The Fusionistas are REMARKABLY calm considering they've just been
told that Simone (who is laid out on the floor like a Christmas
turkey) is dead. They're all speechless. Then they start holding
each other (Josh is holding Babe, naturally). Then they start
stroking parts of Simone. Where is all the screaming and gnashing
of teeth and wailing and weeping that they NORMALLY display on a
near-daily basis over things like hangnails, mistyped password
entries and any slight, real or imagined by and to each other? And
why does it not occur to a single one of them that there might have
been a CRIME committed and that perhaps they shouldn't disturb
either the body or the scene before police get there? At least Zach
had the presence of mind to give Derek a call! Do they think Simone
stuck a flower in her hair, wrapped a ribbon around her wrist and
then proceeded to lie down on a mat and simply perish at will?
Tad tells Krystal that he trusts her and that he knows she would
NEVER lie about something this important (that something being the
paternity of her baby). Excuse me? SHE is the one who persuaded
Babe to KEEP Miranda even after they figured out that Miranda was
Bianca's baby, and SHE is the one who fixed the DNA results to show
that JAR was Little Adam's father, regardless of the real outcome.
I think a little thing like the paternity of her unborn baby is
something she would EASILY lie about -- it comes as natural to her
as BREATHING.
Once word gets out about the death upstairs, will business at
ConFusion slack off, swell or stay the same? Will they name a drink
after Simone (or after the killer)?
The EMT's should at least have something to say about this being a
possible crime scene, but they can barely do their jobs with all the
people standing around, and THEN Josh puts a wooly blanket over
Simone (but not her face), allowing for all sorts of Locard's
Exchange contamination, while the EMT's just stand there looking
sadly at the corpse. Can you say hair and fibers? EMT's become
authority figures when it comes to that kind of thing, but they are
clearly cowed by the mere presence of everyone else. What would
Shaqqie say about this?
Isn't it time that the Fusionistas got rid of that hideous Pillsbury
biscuit couch near the elevator? Anything that trendy-looking HAS
to be out of style by now.
Amanda doesn't need protection. They reiterate it. And then
reiterate it AGAIN. Well, that's a foreshadowing if ever I heard
one.
Well, at least Derek admits it's possibly a crime scene, but why
does he have to herd everyone outside onto the ROOF to talk to them?
It's a big warehouse, and even ConFusion has it's own separate
offices that he could have used. He even apologizes about the cold
(I'll bet Kendall's rethinking her spaghetti straps right about now
... nah). Why couldn't they stand in the indoor STAIRWELL to be
questioned rather then outside at night in what is probably 20-30
degree weather? They should SUE the PVPD for unnecessarily forcing
them into such an unhealthy situation.
Did you notice that, even on the roof, in front of everyone, Josh is
still can't his hands off of Babe?
