BZZZZZZT! Ethan was off the mark when he queried Kendall about how
she felt about him: "Is it torture go to bed with me? To wake up
with me? [Takes her hand] To receive diamond rings from me?" He
put the most emotional emphasis on receiving the diamond ring when
it should have been, in order of importance to HER, 1) waking up
with him, 2) going to bed with him, and 3) getting diamond rings.
Kendall points out that Ethan lied to her and SWORE ON THEIR LOVE
that he was telling the truth. He promises he'll never do that
again. Translation: "I PROMISE you that the NEXT time I see an
opportunity to pin Edmund Gray's minutes-old murder on my father, I
won't do it!" He can probably keep THAT promise.
Excuse me? Jackson gives Sammy money to take Lily out for ice
cream. It's dark out! He just sends two 15-yr-olds, one of them
deathly bedeviled by the color red (which glows quite nicely in the
dark in most towns that have cars with brake/taillights or
streetlights) out into the night without a second thought!
Maria says she's in no position to pass judgment, BUT--and then
proceeds to chastise Jackson for giving them money for ice cream
after they got in trouble for fighting at school. Excuse me? MARIA
lets the kids walk all OVER her and treat her like a fresh, steaming
pile of shit and she doesn't do ANYTHING about it but stand there
and take it and blather on about families sticking together in times
of trouble -- how about some CONSEQUENCES to their behavior?

Her timing SUCKS! Her husband is emotionally devastated over what
just happened -- geez give him a week or so to recuperate! I DO
understand her not wanting him to, for instance, run out and get a
vasectomy, but pushing the baby issue RIGHT NOW is not only selfish,
but downright STUPID considering the emotional condition Ryan is
currently in.
Anita said the magic words today: "It's all my fault!" It was
probably just my imagination that they are giving us a nod with that
one :-)
Was is just me, or did they suddenly turn the sound WAY UP on the
montage music while Ethan was caressing Kendall's face and telling
her that he loved her? I though they must have been standing next
to rooftop speakers! I could barely HEAR him talking buried under
all that music!
