Rebecca Buddig always looks so much better (i.e, more "real") when she's wearing only a little bit of makeup. We've only seen her like that a couple of times, though -- once when she and Leo broke up and she got drunk and now after (presumably) showering, changing her clothes and going back to the hospital to see Ryan.

I would NEVER have let my son talk to me the way Sam talks to Maria! And if *I* had ever talked to MY mother like that, well I probably wouldn't even BE here today! What a little SNOT! Mind you, teens WILL be snots on occasion, especially if they think they have a reason to be, but parents HAVE to draw the line and not let them walk all over them. When I was a teen, my friend and her brothers talked that way to THEIR mother, but she never did anything about it, so they just did it even MORE. We would never have DARED to do so in MY house (we might THINK about it, but we didn't SAY it). Mind you, some kids ARE uncontrollable that way, but Maria isn't even TRYING -- she just stands there and takes it!
