WHY do the people who supposedly CARE about Lily keep leaving her on her own even when she's going through rough patches?

Babe tries to explain to Krystal what a wonderful person Jamie is and how she came to town and grabbed a drink on the beach and there he was. He was so sweet and honest, like he didn't know any other way to be. He was just THAT wonderful. Then she says she didn't pay attention to that because she was so dazzled by JAR. Didn't pay attention? I'd say FUCKING him was paying him at least a LITTLE attention!

Reggie tells Danielle that if the "hot girls" try to mess with her, Lily knows she should stand clear. Uh, no, she DOESN'T. Just moments before he walked up as she was starting to unbutton her shirt at their urging.

Okay, I take back my speculation that they were trying to foreshadow Greenlee as being distracted due to being pregnant. She's DEFINITELY whacked out. No sooner do I type this, of course, than Ryan informs her that she has all the symptoms of a woman carrying a baby. Excuse me? I'm reasonably sure I never answered the door naked nor did I give away something as precious as a wedding ring without a second thought. I have indiscriminately blurted out things better kept to myself, but I've been doing THAT ever since I started to talk and continue to do it to this day, but was only pregnant for 9 months of those 49 years. On rare occasions I've actually attempted to nurture plants, with little long-term success. I've even been known to be paranoid, but not while I was pregnant. On a refreshing note, at least she hasn't fainted yet, but I guess now I'll have to take back my taking back that they were foreshadowing that she was pregnant (which is not to say that they ARE saying she's pregnant, just FORESHADOWING that she is).

What part of SexLater's oh-so-analytical brain can't comprehend the common factor of the Cambias Curse: Alexander Cambias Senior, who is no longer part of the picture? Why would Ethan be "cursed" if he's never had to endure the pressures put upon him by Alex Sr? For that matter, why did SexLater go on to be a rich guy ANYWAY when he could be just another "curse-free" working schmuck like the rest of us?
