(Thursday & Friday)

I am really starting to HATE this crossover CRAP! I keep watching scenes and wondering if I missed a day or a segment somewhere along the line because characters talk about things that have happened that I haven't seen. For instance, Bianca is apparently deep in thought in the boathouse. We find out eventually (as she tells Krystal) about a detective questioning her, in depth, about Paul Kramer's murder (on OLTL).

Babe says she just wants to be able to take her little boy to the park and not be afraid that someone is going to snatch him away if she looks away for a second. Oh, you mean like YOU DID?

Babe dreamily muses that it just doesn't feel right being THIS happy. I agree -- it's NOT right! She kidnaps a baby (never mind that it's biologically her child, she does not have CUSTODY) without letting the parents know WHY, leaving them to wonder if their baby has been murdered, takes off leaving a bombshell about the parentage of Bess, and ruins Jamie's life by allowing him to be a part of the whole mess, all the while making puppy eyes and playing the sweet, innocent, slightly misguided ingenue in her own mind.

Ugh! That hairstyle is NOT a good look for Maggie -- it makes her look MUCH older.

I'm glad they didn't try to bring Zeke McMillan (Simone's father) back as a shrink.

Speaking of not a good look, that hat looks HORRIBLE on Opal (sorry Shaqqie) -- not at ALL flattering (she wears a lot of outrageous hats, but usually manages to carry it off -- not this time). Maybe it would look better with her hair back to red instead of her current blond. I think someone in the Costume/Makeup/Hair dept is on some sort of period-piece glam kick, but it's just not working for ME.

Why are they playing beach sounds outside Kendall's condo? At first I thought it was passing traffic, similar to what we hear outside the Pine Cone, but more muted, but then I heard seagulls. Then again, maybe it's highway traffic and the sound of seagulls picking at garbage people threw out of their cars. Considering that, for a while, we were hearing the Foley Editor's favorite sounds (Manhattan traffic jam honking) outside the condo, having the beach there is pretty disingenuous. Then the next scene where Babe and Jamie are at some highway stop and she's making a phone call has almost the same sounds, except it IS passing traffic. These constant background sounds are SOOOOO annoying to me!
