Boogie Chillen November 15-17, 2004 (Monday-Wednesday)
I had written a little about Monday's show, but had a HIGHLY
annoying laptop mishap (i.e., it REALLY PISSED ME OFF! I had had
the hard drive replaced, but didn't like the sounds I was hearing,
so I backed everything up onto an external drive, then ran the
recovery disks, just to make sure *I* decided what did and did not
get initially installed, but had left the USB external drive still
connected to the it, and the recovery CDs hosed the backup drive,
which it logically SHOULD have IGNORED at that point in time, but it
DIDN'T) and I lost everything I had done for the last two weeks (and
some from farther back), but here is what I vaguely remember saying:
Why is Erica so ecstatic with the view from the prospective New
Beginnings building? It looks just like the view from her old
Enchantment office, and it was never a very good view to begin with
what with the massive urban decay that has afflicted PV for the last
10 years.
I have to say that I've really enjoyed how Zach Slater consistently
does NOT rise to the bait whenever he's, well, baited. He coolly
listens and usually declares whatever they have to say to be either
not particularly interesting to him or none of their business and
leaves it at that. On a show where pretty much everyone blows it on
a daily basis whenever they are baited, no matter HOW much
experience they've had, it's quite refreshing to see someone react
with simple logic and/or cool detachment and simply walk away from
the melodramatics and obvious attempts at emotional manipulation.
Who delivers the daily paper to David's isolated mountaintop cabin?
I hope David gives that person BIG tips.
Are we supposed to be mad at the Emergency nurse? Sorry, Ryan was a
loudmouth JACKASS who refused to explain anything at all and just
barged in bellowing at her and threatening to buy the hospital so he
can fire her.

Greenlee freaks out in the MRI machine, So Ryan and Maria just rush
in and Ryan orders the technician, who is standing right next to the
machine, to "stop this thing"! Uh, I'm pretty sure the machine
wasn't running yet, if only because the technician was standing
right next to it instead of in the next room, not to mention the
fact that there was no noise coming from it other than the sound of
Greenlee yelling at the top of her lungs.
That's certainly the SLOWEST MRI I've ever heard, once it finally
DID get going.
