(Wednesday)

When Greenlee jokingly suggested they start a dog-walking service with the slogan: "Let us pamper your pooch", how many of you remembered the hapless "Happy", the little white dog Leo had bought for her on their honeymoon (or thereabouts) and we never saw again after 2 or 3 episodes?

In any case, Greenlee is rich in her OWN right (not on par with the Cambias billions, but pretty damn rich) so they're hardly paupers.

Once again -- the likelihood of Lily visiting is absolutely possible, so WHY is Kendall wearing a BRIGHT RED dress? For that matter, why the hell is Kendall wearing a bright red COCKTAIL dress just to visit her sister and niece in the hospital? It's SUCH an inappropriate dress for a casual visit and baby drool (not to mention JAR's drool a little later on). It's not like any of them are even going in to work, after all.

Whoever called it about Lily getting a crush on Aidan hit it head on, now that we know he makes her "feel butterflies" :-) Good call!

It may be sentimental to hear "You Are My Sunshine" playing to connect JAR to his own childhood and Dixie, but I can't be the only one remembering how we begged them to make her STOP singing it at the time :-) Someone even named his copy machine "Sunshine", probably because Dixie kept singing it over and over and over, like a copier, making our teeth and ears hurt.

You know, we should all practice allowing ourselves to feel the simple joy of having a piece of paper (or handkerchief or Kleenex or whatever it was Miranda was so fascinated and happy with) in our hands to play with -- to be delighted JUST for the sake of being delighted! Can you imagine how NICE it must be to be a baby and just live in the moment from one moment to the next and not have a care in the world other than to be fed and have a clean diaper (and to not give it another thought once those goals have been achieved)?

BTW, Jonathan must now die. I don't care HOW traumatized he was in his childhood. Maggie had better leave him IMMEDIATELY (but you KNOW she WON'T). The first time a man hits ME is the LAST time he hits me!

TAN: Regarding our earlier off-topic conversations about replacing hard drives in Echostar (Dish) satellite receivers, FYI I recently replaced the 30G drive (which replaced the original 8G drive) that I had installed a few years ago with a 120G drive and it's working just great -- the hardest part was getting the screws off the cover (and then back on). Plug it into a phone line, and it will figure out for itself that it needs new software and will phone home to Echostar for it as soon as you give it the go-ahead.
