Okay, I have to say it -- I HATE the name "Bess" for a baby. It's just not a good name to saddle a kid with. Kids are going to tease her and call her all kinds of variations on a COW theme. Some old- fashioned names are sweet and even trendy, but to me, "Bess" isn't one of them. Every time JR says the name in reference to Miranda, it sort of clangs in my ears. Just as well since that's not REALLY the baby's name, and, so far, people on AMC named Bess haven't had very good luck (Dixie's mother died of a brain-wasting disease, Dixie's baby (presumably) died along with Dixie, and now Bianca's baby has been stolen and named Bess. Yup, if there's a character named Bess in the vicinity of AMC, you can be sure some kind of tragedy is in the air closest to it.

If David wasn't allowed to examine Babe or see her records, how does he KNOW she has pericarditis? Isn't he just GUESSING?

The lawyer for Cambias Industries says the company WILL flounder without someone at the helm. Oh, and it was FLOURISHING with an hours-old INFANT at the helm? Doesn't say much for the viability of the company if it can't run itself for a few days without the help of a newborn. Lawyer: "Miss Miranda, we need your signature on these contracts." Miranda dips her foot in a nearby dirty diaper and kicks it on the papers. Lawyer: "Very good, Miss Miranda. Oh, and we need an answer about the Digby issue." Miranda: "Urp." Lawyer: "Good decision, Miss Miranda. Here, let me wipe that up for you. Now about that merger with Pepsico ..." Miranda, flailing her arms, scrunching up her face and turning beet red: "SCREECH!!!!!" Lawyer: "Okay, Coke it is." Miranda, wriggling contentedly after her initial surprise at losing suction on the fist she just had in her mouth, and wobbling her head around, not quite able to focus on anything: "Gurgle-HIC!" Lawyer: "Ah, yes, I see your point. Couldn't have said it better myself. I'll get right on that!" [The really frightening part of the above is that I just realized that virtually every response and action by Miranda (and her flunkies) would be considered NORMAL for Michael Jackson and his flunkies on any given day of running HIS business empire.]

Had to love Mia's nasty quip to Greenlee re Mia and Simone: "Oh please! How DUMB do you think we ARE?" ROTFLMAO!!! There's hasn't been a dictionary PUBLISHED that contains enough words to answer THAT question.
