(Tuesday)

That's a mighty big t-shirt Bianca borrowed from Maggie. It must look like a tent on Maggie.

You know, I mentioned last week that the air outside Erica's penthouse is really smoggy and that's hardly necessary since it's fake to begin with. I thought it might be partly due to the local station, which messes with the colors. However, today I'm looking at it, and the sky above the building on the window pane to the far right is blue, but the other ones show that the sky is still VERY smoggy with a grayish purple tinge to it. Hey, PROPS -- get your shit together and at least match up the window panes!

I am SO glad Bianca finally told Maggie that she had been raped. I realized they again had no background sounds for her scenes and it made me wonder just how often it IS used in so many other scenes that it's absence was so noticeable here. We should make SURE that she gets an Emmy nom for this storyline because she is absolutely AMAZING in her portrayal. She AGAIN made me cry for her today. When her breath caught, then started in ragged fits and starts, mine did the same. Her vulnerability and fear was palpable, and you could just FEEL how Maggie's protective embrace in her tiny little room was the only safe place for her to retreat even as she tried to run from confronting her memories.

I agree with others that juxtaposing her scenes with Erica's only serves to highlight what a true lightweight Susan Lucci/Erica is in comparison.

I'm guessing that the wedding will not take place or will be interrupted. It seems odd, because we haven't seen her wedding dress yet. Whenever we actually SEE her wedding dress before the ceremony, that usually means the wedding won't take place :-)
