(Wednesday)

Did you notice that double tower of industrial lockers (most of them ajar) in the Fusion office? They are REALLY out-of-place, especially since they partially block the window! I can see maybe having lockers around for people who don't have their own desks, etc., but why THERE? Then I noticed some longer, but lower ones that someone was using as a stand-up desk. Apparently they shopped at a fire sale after the local Jr. High burned down.

I LOVED the scenes between Lena and Bianca! Eden Riegel has really grown into her part. She was great to begin with, but now, when her voice breaks, she doesn't sound like a bleating lamb, she sounds like a heartbroken woman, and it makes all the difference! The emotion she puts into to her scenes really puts Susan Lucci to shame. The kiss at the end of the scene was nice, and certainly ground-breaking, but the scenes leading UP to the kiss were what made it so great!

I think they've believably started to redeem Lena's character, too, and the actress carries it off. If CandyAss were to have a sudden change of heart, I think it would be difficult to believe it for quite some time, if ever. Oh, they'll try it here and there, but I don't think deVry has the chops to pull it off convincingly. I'm issuing a challenge to deVry: Prove me wrong.

Hmmmm, I just realized that deVry is spelled with, as Leo would put it, little "d", big "V". That's almost as vaguely obscene as little "d", big "P" :-)
