(Thursday & Friday)

When Anna looks through her binoculars, is it all blurry due to the mist from the waterfall?

Like mother, like daughter -- did you notice how PERFECTLY made-up Bianca was, despite having been roused from sleep?

Edmund tells Maria that Alf helped make him who he is and taught him the power of words. Maria asks if maybe that's why he became a writer. He says maybe. I say maybe that's why he became an arm- grabber.

Brooke frets over how Laura will take the news of Leo's assumed death. Tad suggests that if she's that worried, maybe she should leave town to go be with her -- he'll go too. What the HELL is WRONG with this man? He leaves town at the drop of a hat, CONSTANTLY ignoring his children, despite people TELLING him and him SEEING and KNOWING the negative effect it has on them!

David gives Greenlee a sedative when she refuses to believe that Leo is dead and gets angry that no one seems to be looking for him. Is that even LEGAL? Is it ROUTINE to drug people on the spot, against their will just because they are really, REALLY upset? It's not like she had a weapon.

Everyone is SO sure that Leo is dead, despite not having found a body yet. Same for Vanessa. It is EXTREMELY rare that anyone on a soap actually dies and STAYS dead, so I really can't even work up a shred of sadness or empathy. Mostly I'm just puzzled that the characters on the show don't seem to realize this, despite it having HAPPENED to a significant number of them.

Robin "okay, I believe JESSE is DAID" Coutellier

P.S. Has anyone ever told Frankie that his own grandfather sold him as part of a baby-stealing/selling ring?
