Boogie Chillen March 20, 2002 (Wednesday)
What did Vanessa make that turban out of, a pillowcase?
Again -- WHY is Vanessa in the hospital, theoretically confined to
bed? She seems VERY mobile and isn't hooked up to any equipment
whatsoever. If it's only for psychiatric purposes, she could just as
well hang out in jail or at a mental facility without constantly
endangering civilians.
Does Myrtle have an elevator in her house? If not, how is Chris
planning to get up the stairs to his room?
If Mateo is the one gaslighting Vanessa, why would he do that, other
than to just torture her? If he makes her seem even MORE crazy, then
she won't go to prison (theoretically). Of course, Mateo has never
been known for his brains.
Once again, Vanessa gets WELL out of her room. Why don't they just
lock her damn door? The guard follows, but is pulled back by the
shrink and she just LETS him pull her away! Who the hell is in charge
here? THEN Vanessa accosts Jamie, putting him in a veritable
stranglehold, and an entire CROWD of people just stand there and
WATCH, allowing her to scare the SHIT out of Jamie. She COULD have
done much worse to him while they all just stood there! Maybe we
should start keeping a tally of litigable acts (or lack thereof) that
take place at PVH.
What's on the chain around Chris' neck? It's under his sweater. He
doesn't strike me as someone who wears jewelry, especially since he's
only wearing sweats.
If they really want to make sure that Vanessa's room isn't wired for
sound, why don't they just move her to another room?
Semi-TAN: Does anyone besides me ever wonder how the ABC soap
announcer must feel when he has to read all the promos for everything
from MacDonalds to ABC jewelry to upcoming primetime shows? I mean,
really, he sounds SOOO uncomfortable sometimes and rarely do I
consider his attempts to sound sincere to be so. He tries to sound
amazed and delighted and it just falls like an anvil (to me). Yeah,
it's a job, but that voice has creeped me out for a long time now. He
always sounds just so out of place, like an super-macho guy pretending
to be nonchalant while buying buy sanitary napkins for his daughter
and having to endure a price check over the loudspeaker.
