Boogie Chillen July 25, 2002 (Thursday)
Leo has been trying until his gills hurt to make things go as smoothly
as possible for the traumatized Greenlee. So why does he refuse to
cooperate with Anna and try to make a run for it in the face of two
burly cops instead?
Colby seems like a bright little girl. She asks Adam WHY he yelled at
Aunt Mia. Hello? Daddy yells at EVERYONE all day EVERY day. It
should hardly be a surprise.
I've never had my stomach pumped, but from what I've heard, it's
pretty grueling, even if you ARE unconscious. Simone looks pretty
good for someone who's just had her guts sucked out.
Frankie is pretty touchy-feely for a doctor. He might be a
compassionate person, but his moves are liable to get him slapped with
a sexual harassment suit (ironic, since Angie had to do that to the
big, bad doctor supervising her when SHE was an intern there),
although he was much more overtly threatening to her.
How can Jackson POSSIBLY keep a straight face as he lectures Anna
about her questioning Leo being a conflict of interest? This guy has
had more conflicts of interest than Henry the 8th!
Adam and Mia took Colby across town to get ice cream? NOW? Never
mind that if it's dark it's past Colby's bedtime, why did they leave
LIZA alone. I don't buy THAT for a SECOND! And why would it take
BOTH of them to do that, considering all of Liza's accusations about
them constantly being together? I realize Liza and Tad are putting on
a show for Adam, but it still requires us to believe that they would
have left Liza alone just then.
LOD:
David to Greenlee: "Love comes in spurts ..." And sometimes it hits your right in the face.
Awwww. Wasn't that a sweet ending? Doomed to all kinds of legal
headaches an a total flouting of the law by these people who have no
scruples and no more ability to figure out right from wrong than a
toddler (but pretend that they do) -- but sweet.
