Okay, so to complicate the D.A.'s relationship to just about everyone connected with the trial, we now have the D.A. calling as a witness his niece's half-sister, who is also the daughter of a woman (his former sister-in-law) with whom he's had a WHOLE LOTTA sex, including while she was married to his brother, whom he testified AGAINST in a child custody hearing and with whom he shares a great deal of emotional baggage. He couldn't have more personal entanglements with this case if he were SCREWING the defendant on a courtroom table at the same time he was cross-examining both of her daughters!

Did ANYONE (besides Opal) feel sorry for Erica as she sat weeping in her cell? GOD this is STUPID and I don't buy her "love" for Chris for a SECOND. Giving up the man she loves to help her daughter? PUH-LEASE! I might buy it if she was working with someone she had at least SOME chemistry with, but they're like cardboard cutouts together.
