A missed opportunity: Greenlee's outfit on the island fantasy had her dressed in gingham and pigtails. An added touch would have been to give her must bigger breasts. That way, when she was saying "Hey! Wait a minute!" about the clothes and laugh track, she could also look down and say: "HEY! Those aren't MY breasts!"

As always, Joe goes by the book--NOT! He never fails to put up a token resistance to compromise doctor-patient confidentiality, then cave COMPLETELY. Chris asks him for info on pretty much ALL the patients of the hospital (re heart attacks without prior history of heart problems, then ALL of Hayward's patients). Joe says he guesses he doesn't have much choice since this is an official investigation. Uh, I don't believe there's been a subpoena or even credible identification from Chris, for that matter. We never, EVER see anyone fed but him on this investigation.

Well, I'd like to rant and rave about Dixie and her utter selfishness and stupidity regarding the baby, but I've already done that; if she's so determined to kill herself, fine, let her do it! Soon.

Dixie tells David that there's hope for him yet. He asks if she really thinks that. Dixie: "With all my heart." Well, we all know how much THAT'S worth. He doesn't have a prayer.

I hear my neighbors (but not often enough) telling their dogs "NO!". I'm sure I wasn't the only one who thought Hayley talking to Mateo over Chris and saying "Mateo! NO, I said, NO!" sounded for all the world like a pet owner and it's dog :-) I suppose it's appropriate since Mateo's brain size is about the same as a poodle's.

Exactly what does Maggie think the code "V-a-n-e-s-s-a E-v-i-l" will do as far as showing it to the D.A.? It's not like everyone in town didn't ALREADY have that opinion of her.

Dixie to JR on why she has to leave: "I have to get back to being a good mom -- for YOU. THAT'S what's really the most important to me." So she's going to abandon her troubled son when he needs her most. You know, I'm beginning to think that institution Adam had committed to was not necessarily a bad idea.

Can't wait to update Friday's episode since we finally seem to be getting some answers. I'd also like to see Vanessa stick it (and push the plunger) to Dixie, but that's probably not going to happen.
