Boogie Chillen
December 23-24, 2002

(Monday & Tuesday)

Actually, I didn't really have anything to say about Monday's show, but I'm including it in the Boogie Chillen subject/title just for continuity :-)

The gloomy crowd around Greenlee's door is SO concerned (or not) about this being Greenlee's first Christmas without Leo. They yak and argue about it for a while ... at the TOP OF THEIR LUNGS. If I were Greenlee, I would definitely hesitate to open the door.

Notice that no one mentions that the scar on Julia's face had made her feel so ugly that she ran away to Front Street and was (almost) willing to become a prostitute rather than be with her loving family. Yeah, she met Noah that way, but HE was the one who was going to be her PIMP!

Why are Chris and Erica at Ruth & Joe's? Doesn't Erica want to spend Christmas Eve in her brand new penthouse? With THAT view, she could keep a keen eye out for Santa.

The kids heard "Santa" in the hayloft, but the FBI agent doesn't seem to be even remotely concerned. He can always get a job at the PVPD after he retires -- he certainly fits their criteria (clueless).

After what Kendall did to him and Laurie, JR just warms right up to her again like a sheep!

The guy playing JR can't act even enough to PRETEND to sing Silent Night and not look up at the boom like a 2-yr-old. I think I saw him mouth maybe one syllable of the song. That would not be unusual for a surly teenager, but somehow I don't think that was the intention.
