Adam refers to Adam as "one of this town's most RESPECTED citizens". Adam may be rich, but how can ANYONE (except that idiot Mia) think he's RESPECTED? That guy is in the tabloids almost as often as Erica!

Myrtle and her pronunciations always either crack me up or piss me off because it seems like she flat-out REFUSES to pronounce peoples names correctly, no matter how many times she hears them or (presumably) people TELL her. That said, I LOVED how she pronounced Simone's name as "Say Moan Tar Ez" :-)

Does Trey really think that Nessa doesn't know what he's done to Vanessa? She WAS there all the time, after all.

Ah, a power struggle between Mia and Marian. Where does Mia get off taking over the LANDSCAPING? She may be Liza's half sister, but Marian is her FULL mother! Mia THINKS she's tough, but she's biting the wrong mama bear with MARIAN (I hope)!

Myrtle tells Frankie and Say-moan to finish their breakfast, then: "And I want clean ..." Me: "Sheets?" "Plates," she finally finishes.

Did anyone else find it odd that Leo respectfully referred to Jake as "Dr. Jake" considering everything that they went through with Greenlee? I'm not saying there should or would be open hostility, but it seemed a little TOO warm, fuzzy and respectful all at the same time.

We have a brief glimmer of the old Hayley when she was being sympathetic, if condescending (but no where NEAR as condescending as usual), to Brooke about Maria. Alas, she's back to her harsh, judgmental, judge&jury self. She was way too harsh and downright insensitive to Edmund when he told her about MG looking like Maria, and, of course, all but putting Tim on the rack. He may deserve some grilling, but man does EVERYTHING Hayley do HAVE to be so damn harsh? Why does ANYONE in town even LIKE her, let alone LOVE her?

Uh, how many lightning storms does PA have in the summer? It seems like they have them every couple of days lately.

Who is doing Kendall's makeup? She looks like death warmed over. I know it's supposed to be a stormy night, and maybe the lighting is part of it, along with her hairdo, which, BTW, seems to be getting shorter and shorter. I noticed it was shorter when it was really curly -- now it looks shorter than THAT and it's partially straightened.

Why doesn't Palmer provide (not necessarily PAY for, but PROVIDE) a place for Kendall to stay? She's Petey's nanny, but she's living out of her CAR? Someone ought to report THAT to the tabloids: Billionaire Mogul Too Cheap to Provide Living Space For His Child's Nanny

I haven't said it before, but I actually LIKE Greenlee's hairdo. Don't get me wrong, I HATE the chopped look, but the length looks good on her. It looks lighter and swingier (yes, I know that's not a word).

Had to LOL when Greenlee asked Nessa where the ten million dollars is hidden -- Vanessa must feel like she's being bombarded with spam :-) I get bombarded ALL DAY every day with spam, and every ONE of them is sent to me to "help" me if I'll do something for THEM. I get offers to help my penis grow 3-4 inches (despite my not having one in the first place), pay off my mortgage (despite the fact that I'm renting), pay my bills, give me free porn, get rich with investments, lose weight, buy pharmaceuticals, hypnotize women into my bed (I get into my own bed every night WITHOUT hypnotizing myself, thank you (although I DO know how to use self-hypnosis, I rarely use it to seduce myself)), etc.

Wait a second -- was that the CHRYSLER building I saw in the background of Erica's office? I knew PV had flights to anywhere, any time, with guaranteed arrival within minutes of boarding a plane, but it appears PV has picked up and gone to New York City -- either that or the Chrysler Building has meandered away from New York, no doubt disgusted with it's now worthless 401k status and unable to afford to live in Manhattan.

Kendall, yet AGAIN, infiltrates Enchantment's security and manages to go straight to Erica's office. Don't they have a 6' poster of her in the lobby by now, warning not to let her in? She then explains it by saying she threatened a lawsuit for not getting paid. And this is Security's problem ... how? It's already dark, which in the summertime means it's NIGHT (or, I supposed a tornado or dust storm), they did NOT check with Erica or, presumably, any OTHER person with authority and they KNOW Kendall is a scheming bitch who will stop at nothing to get even with Erica. Enron and Worldcom owe a LOT of people money, but I doubt any of THEM would be allowed to waltz on into the CEO's offices. TOTALLY bogus! She might SEDUCE or BRIBE her way in, but not with THAT lameass excuse.

So they ARE going after the faux incest storyline? Or is it just the Roger-protecting-Greenlee-from machinations-of-Proteus storyline?

They don't seem to be making much progress on the Enchantment Penthouse, do they?

TAN: Remember I said The Thunderbirds were debuting on TechTV this week? Remember I inadvertently referred to them as MARTINettes? Well the first marionette I saw had Dr. Joe's eyebrows! In fact, MOST of them have Joe's eyebrows. Coincidence? I think NOT! I'd never seen the show before and am glad I'm seeing it as an adult -- what a campy HOOT! That show just SCREAMS out to be MST3k'd!

BTW, there IS such a word as "Martinet". [Martinet, noun. 1. A rigid military disciplinarian. 2. One who demands absolute adherence to forms and rules.] Well there's an oxymoron for you -- the Martins APPEAR to fit the description, but then do just the opposite at every turn.
