(Monday)

First, a recap for those of you who missed today's show:

Adam tries to stop Liza from going up to get her things so she could leave him, resulting in her falling down the short set of pre-stairs. Ryan says not to move her because she's pregnant. She is taken away in an ambulance, saying that she knows "something is wrong". Laura is presented with the old, new, borrowed, blue stuff by Brooke, Phoebe and Susan. Susan gives her a bundle of old foodstamps so she won't forget where she came from. The wedding planner informs her that the minister is still stuck in Hawaii and can't make it. If the 6 others she tried, the only one she could get was the one who had previously been scheduled to marry Leo and Greenlee (but he's quite photogenic :-). Failing that, she MIGHT be able to get a guru. Laura throws a hissy fit (not to mention a vase of flowers) and fires the wedding planner. She immediately sits down and confidently and smugly brushes her hair, saying she's left NOTHING to chance and she still has a BIG surprise for Leo. Susan talks about how Laura struck it rich by latching onto Brooke and Leo. Laura says she'll never let go of either one of them. Jake stops by Greenlee's office to tell her he's moved her out and there is NO chance of pursuing any kind of relationship. Erica comes back from Paris and fires Greenlee for the bad gorilla suit/desperation publicity. Roger stops by to get drug info from the computer, but Greenlee no longer has access to log on. He throws a hissy fit. At the condo, Leo, not even starting to get ready for the nuptials, is drinking and putting matching gift watches into the champagne glass to test their claim of being waterproof. Laura calls him to tell him to get a present for him out of the dresser -- it's a photo cube with pictures of them and an audio message from her that alternately gushes about their love, and harshly declares they'll be together forever and DON'T be late. Bianca and Frankie come over (apparently at Leo's prior request) and he asks Bianca to be his Best Person. She continues to try and talk him out of the wedding, but will reluctantly be there for him.

And on to the Boogie Chillen:

The way pregnant women keep falling down those short little steps at Adam's house and losing or almost losing babies as a result, you'd think they'd invest in an elevator.

The Chandler estate is at 300 *RIVER ROAD*. Well no WONDER nothing but disaster ever happens at the Chandler estate, it's on *RIVER ROAD*!

More missing scenes: Greenlee was apparently assigned to spy on Bianca and Frankie. I don't remember Erica asking her to do that. For that matter, the last we saw of Bianca and Frankie, they were THRILLED that Erica was going away for a few days. Then NOTHING until they show up at Leo's today. I'm beginning to think someone totally screwed up and inadvertently burned the master copy of an entire show -- maybe even a couple of shows. We should start keeping track. So now we have the following missing scenes:

- Greenlee and Jake having a relationship-ending fight about her plan to go to the costume wedding party at SOS.

- Whatever happened to cause Mateo's transformation into a natty, serene, bemused gangster.

- Erica ordering Greenlee to spy on Bianca while she was away.

- Anything to do with Bianca and Frankie during their blissful, Erica- free days.

It's fun to see Laura becoming unraveled as her wedding day plans go awry. It was pretty funny to see Leo's reaction to the talking photo cube, first dropping it, then running out the door as Laura's voice alternately goes from blissful at their happiness as a couple and slightly dark and threatening about the marriage lasting for the rest of their lives and that he'd better NOT be late! I wonder where he's running to THIS time.

That was an interesting little exchange between Laura and Susan about Laura remembering where she came from. There seemed to be an allusion to Laura latching onto both BROOKE and Leo and NEITHER ONE of them ever getting away from her. Aside from her behavior lately, are they going to write it that Laura has been playing Brooke from day 1? Hmmm, an interesting twist that would KEEP Laura in the bad-girl mode and, thus, more interesting, for a long time.
