I still think Ilene looks like a transgendered guy -- uh -- woman.

The Robin/Anna reunion means zip to me, but I know many, MANY people are diehard fans of them from their GH days and were disappointed, to say the least, when ABC interrupted the show for Timothy McVeigh news (as if that man hasn't interrupted enough lives already), so I am quoting them in their entirety (at least for the missing portion of the show):

PV HOSPITAL

On the sunporch, Brooke holds Laura's hand as she smiles and nods that there is indeed a heart donor. David adds that they let him out of jail to perform the surgery. Brooke tells her it's an incredible gift. David leaves to prep for the surgery. Jake tells her it's a perfect match. Brooke fills her in on the motorcycle victim and says she spoke to the family. Brooke leaves out the part about accosting them and paying them megabucks for the heart. Laura has a momentary flood of horror at the fate of the donor, but quickly recovers. Jake says the National Organ Donor Registry allows for designation, and that's what happened there today. Laura hugs Brooke in relief. Leo bends down to pet Laura's hair.

THE BEACH

Ryan spreads a blanket where everyone else spreads blankets, i.e., smack in the middle of the short path to the beach. Gillian marvels at the great surprise. Ryan says that's not even the surprise -- they are going to Vladsel tomorrow for their honeymoon. [I'm constantly distracted by Ryan's skin -- apparently he's had a tanning machine mishap -- I'm guessing the timer broke. His hair is unusually red today, too. Adding his freshly bleached Mateo-like teeth to the mix, it makes for an unsettling sight.] Gillian protests about leaving the company unattended at such a critical juncture [it's never stopped them BEFORE]. She refuses to go. She tries to wheedle him into staying, saying they have the rest of their lives to go see Vladsel. She says she COULD be pregnant. He points out that it's pretty soon after her surgery for that. She says she knows it might take longer, what with only one fallopian tube and all, but maybe they could start trying now. [Huh? They are DESTITUTE to hear both of them tell it, and she's suggesting a baby NOW?] He's suspicious, but she kisses his questions away, which instantly puts him into a sexual trance, making all but one part of him putty in her hands. They carefully lie back on the sand, making out.

WILDWIND

Anna and Robin hug. Anna savors the moment with tears in her eyes. They break apart and Robin gives a brilliant smile, saying: "You hug the same!" Anna: "You smile the same. Your nose crinkles up." Robin stares at her in wonder and says: "This is like a dream." Anna loses her smile and says: "Robin, I couldn't remember anything." Robin: "Is that why --" Anna: "Oh, yeah! Oh, my God, darling, I would have come for you sooner ..." Robin: "So -- when they didn't find your bodies --" She straightens and says: "You and Daddy -- oh, my God! Does that mean Daddy's alive, too?" Anna shrugs impotently: "I don't know. Oh, there's so much to explain!" Robin shakes her head and tearfully says: "I can't tell you how much I've missed you! So much has happened to me since I lost you. So much has changed." Anna reaches out and pets her hair: "I want to know everything." Robin: "I cried myself to sleep so many nights, wanting you and Daddy back." Anna: "Oh, God. Tell me you weren't all alone." Robin: "No, but it wasn't the same, you know? I needed my parents." She gulps and ventures to ask: "Mom, do you think it's possible that Daddy could be alive, too?" Anna: "I can't say. I really -- I couldn't say." They both wipe away tears. Robin: "Ok, so how do you know Edmund Grey?" Anna resettles herself on the couch and sputters a little: "I -- I want to hear about you." They hold hands and keep touching each other lovingly and the mood lightens as Robin smiles and says: "All right. Well, I live in Paris." Anna: "Yeah, I know that. Edmund told me that." Robin: "I go to school." Anna: "Medical school. Wow." Robin: "Yeah." Anna: "Just like [she rolls her eyes] -- oh, you'll find out soon enough who that's like." Alex bops in and says: "Anna, did I hear you in here?" Robin turns around and stares in disbelief and incomprehension. Anna sticks her fingers in her mouth and bites one of them. Robin: "Oh, my God!"

Apparently they became acquainted over the commercial break, because when we come back, Alex is sitting on the edge of their antique green velvet couch and saying: "I feel like I know you already." Robin, whose sweater matches the couch PERFECTLY, sits dead center on the couch between the twins and says: "I can't believe my mom has a twin sister." Anna: "Alex wanted to come get you, you know." Alex: "I did. But I worried that -- you seeing me after you didn't even know I existed and the loss you were feeling for your mother --" Robin: "I understand. Wow! This is not how I thought the day was going to end when I got on the plane in Paris this morning!" Alex: "A lot of things have happened recently that we didn't anticipate." Anna: "But we have forever to talk about that. I can't stop looking at you." Alex: "So, Anna, you knew it was Robin in the foyer when you heard her voice?" Anna gesticulates wildly: "Oh, it was like a fog lifted and all these memories just started tumbling over each other! Bang, bang, bang! It was --" Alex finishes the sentence for her: "It's wonderful." Anna suddenly points at Robin and says: "I remember the house that we used to live in with your father." Robin grins: "Yeah. Uncle Mac still lives there." Anna: "We used to laugh a lot, didn't we?" She looks ruefully at Alex and pouts: "I don't laugh NEARLY so much anymore." Robin grips Anna's hand again and says: "We can work on that one together." Anna enthuses: "God, isn't she fabulous? She goes to medical school!" Alex: "Oh. Did Edmund come to find you?" Robin: "Yeah, actually, I think he was just trying to see if I knew anything or if there was something I could say that would help Mom remember. But he told me that he was writing an article about her for his magazine." Alex: "And you didn't believe him?" Robin: "No, I TOTALLY believed him, but I wanted to know why he was asking, and -- I don't know -- I just -- [she turns to Anna and shrugs] I couldn't stop thinking about you, and I booked the next flight." Anna laughs briefly. Robin caresses a gold, double-strand bracelet and says: "And I haven't worn this in years, but I put it on today before I left." Anna: "I remember this. I do." Robin smiles with her eyes nearly closed: "Yeah. I kept it to remember you by, but I could never really bring myself to wear it -- until today. It's kind of weird." She stares at Anna, still trying to grasp the reality of her and says: "Oh, oh, my God! Uncle Mac's going to be SO happy! We have to go tell all your friends [Anna's face falls] and everyone in Port Charles. I mean, we have to go. Maybe we can go up there this weekend and see everyone!" Alex butts in: "Robin, that's not possible." There's a momentary silence. Robin squints a little at Alex. Anna looks up at Alex with a very worried face. Robin, less confidant now: "Ok, well, maybe next week sometime." Anna looks deeply into Robin's eyes and gravely tells her: "We can't go to Port Charles. You can't tell anyone that you've seen me." Robin looks a little askance. Anna looks gloomily up at Alex.

Actually, the missing part went up until they discussed Edmund going to Paris to see Robin, but I thought I'd update it until the end of the scene.

Laura just got out of the ocean -- is anyone going to wash her hair before her surgery? At what point after exiting the ocean did she reapply her lipstick and eye makeup?

I'll bet the beach freaks with binoculars and passers-by got eyefuls, since Ryan and Gillian apparently had sex right there at head of the path to the beach! Don't the PVPD ever cite people for doing that (after taping it for legal reasons, of course ;-)?
