Boogie Chillen July 5, 2001 (Thursday)
Yeah, RIGHT! Laura has a heart transplant last Friday, which means
one or two days ago in PV time, she's already home, but no one
bothers to make sure any emergency backups are in place, such as
having electricity or a working phone! Are we supposed to believe
Brooke went along with THAT? Okay, Zora showed up eventually, but
wouldn't this all have been checked out BEFORE Laura was brought
home? Actually, I'm a little confused -- was the electricity not
turned on, or was the entire complex out or both?
TAN: Back in the early 80s I moved in a BIG hurry (leaving my
husband). Moving is always a grueling task (and I was a lot YOUNGER
then!); I was hot, sweaty, grimy, hurting all over and totally
exhausted. All I wanted to do was find the box with my
nightclothes, find the box with the towels, take a hot, relaxing
back and go to bed. I got prepared, went in and turned the water on
and waited for it to warm up ... and waited and waited and waited --
it never happened. Turns out they had turned on the electricity,
but not the gas (for the water heater). AAAAGGGGGHHHH!!!
Why is it that Laura can't have flowers at home, but there were
giant bouquets crowding her hospital room last Friday and Leo
had brought some to her earlier in the day, but neither Zora, nor
David nor anyone else said a thing about it?
I asked my son (30) how old he thought the actress on the screen
(Rosa) was. He immediately said 28-30. He laughed and rolled his
eyes when I said she was playing a 17-yr-old. He told me: "Don't
worry, tomorrow she'll be 30." :-)
