(Monday-Thursday)

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but just in case it hasn't, does anyone else think that Cameron Mathison & the guy who plays Logan on "Dark Angel" look like they could be not-quite-identical-twins?

I have to say that the scenes with Tad and Junior were pretty powerful. JM did a FANTASTIC job of a boy caught between childhood and adulthood and having to deal with the breakup of his parents (excluding Adam, of course).

I was also heartened to see Erica realize how devastating and WRONG her behavior has been after seeing Sarah's mother rejecting Sarah when Sarah needed her most.

Why is it up to Palmer, Vanessa and Adam to decide whether to press charges regarding the necklace? Arlene stole the necklace. The INSURANCE company would probably want to press charges, not to mention the city or state or whatever the local "royal we" PTB are. True, Adam is merely sweetening the pot for all concerned if she just leaves, but it's not up to him OR her.

Laura is an employee of ID.com -- how can she "buy" the incredible dream of Mindy? She wasn't successful, so it's a moot point, but a point, nonetheless.

Why is Dixie even REMOTELY still interested in David when he's made it very clear that her family means NOTHING to him? Then on Valentine's Day he gives lip service to them -- barely, but STILL tries to get her to just up and leave everything to be with him. Asshole.

When David saw the spider, the closed-captioning showed him as saying "WHOA!" HOWEVER -- *I* distinctly heard him start to say the F-word!

TAN: Speaking of the tarantula, it brought back a memory of my own. My grandparents had taken my brother, sister and I camping. I was about 9, I think. We arrived at lake Dom Pedro in northern CA at night and were going to sleep in the boat and car until the next day when we would find a campsite. As we were getting settled, I skipped around to the other side of the boat and found myself about 6-12 inches from a tarantula. I was wearing shorts and tennis shoes with big holes in them and was sure my exposed flesh would be more than enough temptation for such a terrifying creature. Much like Dixie, I screamed my head off (but did not move for fear of provoking it). My grandfather came running around the side of the boat, saw the tarantula and, without hesitation, stomped on it. He didn't just stomp on it -- he jumped up and down on it with both feet until it was sufficiently pulverized enough to calm my hysteria, then picked me up and put me in the boat. My grandfather was and always has been MY HERO! BTW, the next morning we discovered we had parked right on top of an entire NEST of tarantulas!

David tells Dixie not to let ANYONE in and, WHATEVER she does, do NOT agree to meet with Leslie under ANY circumstances. Naturally, within seconds of David leaving, Dixie falls for the injured ankle routine and invites Leslie in to talk. GOD she's stupid!

Is Pine Valley EVER going to get a 911 system? What do people do when they have an emergency and they don't even KNOW Derek or who he is?

Thursday seemed to be a day of "huh?" All of the sudden Vanessa and Leo are talking about their "master plan" -- the main reason for them coming to Pine Valley. Yeah, we knew they were grifters all along, but this discussion, at this point, was out of the blue. And Jake taking Greenlee away from the party for a drink? And how about that deluxe party ID.com threw? FAC BJs: "Don't look at ME! *I* tried to get rid of them by calling Derek and telling him I'm being held hostage, but he's not around and I don't know who else to call! Those cheerleading brats make my floors hurt and my walls bleed! Where's a tarantula when you NEED one?"

Well, we all knew Gillian's pregnancy was doomed. If not when G&R kept referring to it as "this child", then for SURE when they started referring to it as "a baby" and looking forward to it.
