(Tuesday)

That blue shirt of Dixie's has got to be a masterpiece of engineering. Not only do the gaps between the buttons not gape, but the end's don't ride up or curl up. I figure there is some miracle synthetic material (possibly fallout from the Hale-Bopp comet) used to construct a soft corsetting that has the strength of steel, yet still allows her to bounce.

Speaking of bouncing, Dixie's brain must be made of superballs, which are bouncing around in her hard shell of a head like some endless Pong game. Jake to Dixie: "Whatever he just said to you, he is LYING, Dixie! He is MANIPULATING you the same way he's been all these months!" Dixie: "I EVEN agree with you that that MIGHT be true." Might? MIGHT? And yet she is STILL rooting for David, since he did it all for love of HER and there really IS a good man inside him just waiting for her love to help him blossom forth. As I pause to write this, I look up and see Dixie's face filling the screen as she's about to stick a knife in Jake's gut about Gillian having cuckolded HIM. I try desperately to overcome the urge to take a permanent marker pen and draw filled circles on her forehead to guide the lobotomy team.

Are we supposed to believe some Hungarian bumpkin brought a LAMB with him to the wedding? Oh yeah, those European hooves will just SAIL right through customs.

That Bart sure is a pill, isn't he. What a party pooper! That man needs a steady regimen of Prozac. No wonder Anna is depressed and can't wait to get away.

The depths of Dixie's stupidity, gullibility and lack of family loyalty is absolutely STUPIFYING. She tells Tad that getting their old life back means EVERYTHING to her, but, BTW, she's in love with David. Oh, but it's NOTHING like the love she has for TAD! She's probably planning to bring David cakes with files in them, but she's so stupid they will easily get by the guards (not a difficult task, in any case), because the guards will think they are raisons, Dixie having confused her ingredients and baked FLIES into them instead of FILES.

Of course Dixie can't just turn off her emotions, and I would not expect an instant reunion. It would take a LONG time, if ever, for Tad and Dixie to work their way through THIS. For her to STILL throw away everything she had, even knowing HALF of what David has done to HER, never mind what he has done to everyone else, is mind-boggling. It's not that I don't understand still loving someone that has hurt me, it's that I DO understand. Been there, done that, refuse to do it again. But Dixie DOES do it again, over and over and over and over!
